An Attempt at Rethinking

The same old-same old won't do anymore. Too much damage and too much intransigence has made the traditional forms of religion irrelevant for increasing numbers of people. How can we rethink and recast the ancient ideas so that they speak to people today?

While some of us assume that the community of faith is all about glow in the dark holiness, that doesn't seem to be what Jesus intended. He knew being human was more about healing than being perfect. And maybe resurrection is more about rising into a life of love, acceptance, and hope than opening literal tombs.
